Einen schlechteren Service kann es wohl nicht geben!
1. Bestellung, zu spät versandt! Frage von BCTW: wohnen Sie wirklich an Ihrer Adresse? Damit hätte ich leben können!
2. Bestellung: Ich habe wieder die gleiche Adresse angegeben. Frage von BCTW: Wohnen Sie wirklich an Ihrer Adresse? Wollt ihr mich veralbern? Wieder zu spät versandt! Ich habe Express Versand bestellt! Das kostet 60$ mehr! BCTW hat nur Fedex versandt. Das gesparte Geld will mir BCTW nicht gutschreiben.

Eine dritte Bestellung wird es NIE geben!

Fast shipping! I was blown away by how well everything was packed. I purchased the 4hp table saw and some miscellaneous smaller items. Everything came in about 10 days from payment. It was delivered right to my door on a giant pallet. Everything was individually packaged very well, the saw itself was in a very strong 3/4" thick cardboard box strapped and bolted to the pallet. One of the crystal lenses for the fence measurement was cracked, I called Harvey and they actually answered the phone! Great to speak to a real person. Mikey was very polite and after explaining the slight damage they shipped me out a new one with no problem. Not a big deal at all as I know this was shipped from across the world. The actual saw quality is a full 10 out of 10. Again I am blown away by the craftsmanship. I am very excited to put this beast to work.

Thanks Harvey! / Bridge City

I paid a stupidly high amount for the PB2 palm brace Harvey sells under their Bridge City Tool Works line. The chuck unscrewed itself (one tiny little junk drop of thread sealant holding it, and flew off mid use. This is a problem because 1) this is not a thing that should happen when you pay $150+ and 2) I’m a professional boatbuilder so it flew off into the harbor.
When I contacted Harvey they kindly offered to SELL me a new chuck. Not replace, but sell.
Hence my one star review.

I had a great experience at Harvey picking up my order. All the employees were very pleasant. And accommodating?
I would highly recommend buying products from this company

I have never seen anything like these tools. The HP-12 and the HP-9v2 that I purchased are quite literally the finest handplanes I've ever had. I'm 63 and I've been doing woodworking for 45 years, as a professional. I've never seen anything like this HP-12. It is in a word, magnificent. Thank you! TS 1v2 Square: "The straightness of the stainless-steel blade is accurate to ±0.02mm [0.0008in]" This claim does not stand. I compared the Bridge City Tools TS 1v2 square on an AA grade granite surface plate against Starrett machinist squares that were freshly deburred with precision ground flat stones. As you can see from the first photo, no light penetrates when Starrett squares are against one another, however against the Bridge City Tools TS 1v2 Square, light is visible. There should be no visible light whatsoever if the square is within tolerance. Furthermore, the recess at the base has an orange anodized component which is loose, and makes the square rattle. I will be returning this square, along with the HP-8 mini block plane due to poor quality. I am extremely disappointed with the fit and finish of these tools.

I had to leave almost everything behind in Hawaii, 3 generations of tools we family of industrious Baker/Connell families that I had used to not only support my little family’s needs but also those of my parents as aging took it’s toll.
This time,2 years ago, it was my wife that suddenly came down with APL(a fast killing Leukemia, who’s sufferer’s mostly all die in the first month ((of 100 , only 7 survive the first month)) )..
So tools can be replaced, my wife can’t !
Since my current state of 24/7 vertigo means’Un-powered tools’, the vast bunch of tools had to remain in Hawaii.
Happily, My wife beat the odds 3 ways:
She is a survivor of APL
She is a surviving 3 Atypical Strokes brought on by the first round of chemotherapy
And 44 years ago she bore us our thrid child, our daughter, is now not only working in the field of medicine services so all parents receive the needed care for their unique needs, she was able to rapidly use these skills to ease our transition from able body aging to dependent care survival.
Since tool needs have taken a backseat, I am not done or wish to rust away as an uncared for old (fool) tool. I may pass along some gems of tool making, it’s in my blood… Dad worked at Grumman during WW2 and passed long his skills and tools to me. Various companies had me as their Mission Impossible to unseen problems.
Now though, this Vertigo keeps me limited to in-powered tools ?. So your fine lay out tools and hand tools are in the cross hairs of my needs and with time, they will find themselves in my hands.
One tidbit for a new format , Vertigo Enabled Tools … tools that won’t eat the user! ?
Un-powered tools fill that need. A Jointmaster that can rip cut stock that is clamped to a Sawer’s Split Wood-bench, either the saw plate is set vertically to stock and travels its length or the stock progressively feeds through the saw plate.
A beveling advancing Joint Master could do the trick! Attached to the Sawer’s Bench and its saw plate progressively walking down the stock’s trimming needs !
My crude prototype is to be limited to my merger storage/work area and is a folding split work table. Step by step , it is becoming my means to trim down by ripping stock. No doubt in your crews skilled hands, all crudeness would disappear.

Mark Baket

I rarely leave reviews but am making an exception given the stellar service I've received following a purchase of the Harvey C14 bandsaw. The communication regarding delivery was excellent as well as the delivery. The package was in excellent condition. Setup went smoothly, excitement peaked when I was ready to push the green start button. Alas, nothing happened! After normal rechecking for possible causes, I called and was surprised to make contact immediately. Not only was I given suggestions for trouble shooting, but an email was sent with text and graphics to assist. Several follow up consultations ensued until the problem was resolved which involved sending parts very expeditiously at no charge. I've been able to use the bandsaw for one full day now, and it lives up to all the advertised claims. I'm very happy but the primary reason for this review is to shout out the service!!! If you have any concerns about how emerging problems will be resolved, you can safely put them to rest. BTW, Mikey Thomas is the person who responded to my correspondence.
