Greystone Power is terrible !! They have a monopoly in our area and their service and customer service is horrible. Cobb County has to do something about this ! It is a complete disappointment that Cobb County has forced this power company on us! We're prisoners !! Had to drive over downed lines for a year with babies and all. I cut them down today myself after repeated attempts to get help. Bill has been paid on time every month for 10 years. No loyalty, no respect ! If I could give negative stars I would.

I had a large tree branch laying on my main Power line. After numerous months of trying to get the rental property to handle it, I called Greystone and Jeremiah was out in 45 minutes. He assessed the situation, made adjustments for the future, AND made further repairs JUST to ensure we had no issues moving forward. Top-tier technician. Thanks, Greystone!

It has been raining normally, why has my power with Greystone been off for the last 3 hours. There’s no power line down or anything, this company needs a better grid system it happens often. You think with the amount of money being charged they would have a better grid system

Update 8/15
I decided to keep the thermostats set to 77 for a month to see if it made any difference in the power bill, and it did not really make any huge difference for me. Previous bill was $292, current bill is about $240. Both bills include something called a “power cost adjustment” which ultimately sounds like bullshit to me. I truly can’t wait to get away from this company.

I moved from a location where power was provided by Georgia Power. I now live in a vicinity serviced by Greystone and I get more angry with every new development in this “relationship.” My power bill for last month was $222. This month it’s $292.

In all my time with Georgia Power, the entirety of my time in Atlanta prior to this move, I have NEVER had a bill this high. $25 of this was a “service charge” and then $30 worth of “fees”? This company is a complete rip off. Even comparing the rates to what GA Power offers, I don’t understand the need to pay this company any extra when the customer care isn’t open 7 days a week, you can’t easily speak to someone during the week, I have to pay a ridiculous membership fee, and the service is overpriced. What exactly am I paying a premium for

I don't trust this company and I don't trust their billing. I can be out of town and adjust my thermostat accordingly, and it seems I'd still receive similar bills to when I'm home all month. The cooling and heating in my apt. doesn't even seem to work appropriately. The thermostat can be reading 80 degrees, but the unit won't kick on until I put it well below 70. Similarly, when I want to heat, I have to turn it all the way high, to get it to come on. But even when I feel like I have my thermostat set not to high or low, I still get high bills. And on top of it all, a monthly $25 dollar service charge!?!!? For what?!! That's insane and greedy. Someone make it make sense! As I'm in the process of searching for a house, my number one question will be "Does GreyStone service this area?"... If so, DEALBREAKER!!!!

I pay bills like clock work and always watch my account. I pay early and usually have credits. So last mont I had credit of 48 dollars had no bill due but paid 76.00 on top of the 48.00 credit as to stay ahead. This morning I get email saying I am behind 2 months. I now have to pay 262.00 before the 20th of September or my service will disconnected. I call them only to be put on an insanely long hold. Spoke to the customer service representative and tried get an explanation only to be told yes you did have a credit and you did pay extra on top of that but it only covered the July bill and missed August bill. Mind you I had the credit and paid extra in August. She politely told me you already over due in June that's what your credit and extra payment went towards. So I guess we just billing for the future. I can't to move out of their territory, something ain't clean in the water with company

Greystone Power’s rates are unreasonably high. Despite the property being vacant for two months, with the thermostats turned off, I continue to receive bills of $250 each month. When I called to inquire, I was given no explanation—only advised that “it’s not wise to turn it off.” Considering the moderate weather here in Georgia, this response is unacceptable. I look forward to no longer dealing with this company for a variety of reasons.

This is the WORST electrical company especially for a first-time home buyer. My family friend just recently purchased a home and was excited about moving into your home after such a great accomplishment!

GreyStone only services her community so she had no choice.
#1) They required her to drive to HIRIAM to show her proof of documentation in person! Had to ask to get off work for 2 hours to take care of this only to be there for 5 minutes after her showing documentation she already sent over.
#2) It’s company policy to turn on services next day even coming in early that morning
#3) She has a child that requires a feeding tube and needs electricity for this medical reason and they were not accommodating due to “policy”
#4) She was required to pay a $500 deposit that would only be refunded after 18 months of service in order to turn on electricity.

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible experience for home time buyer and would not recommend to anyone if they had a choice!
