I purchased my building through a local vendor, I was told that I would get a call within 2 to 3 weeks to schedule the install. I received a call within a week, and by the following Monday the came to install my building. They did an amazing job!! The work was excellent that they thoroughly cleaned up before leaving. Very professional. I would highly recommend them again.

I didn't have all the negative experiences that other reviewers have had. Like most, I purchased mine through a local vendor here in town. It is a large shop with an overhang, so I knew it would take a while to build. I got the concrete pad laid and there was a slight miscommunication as I had told them it was done, so assumed they had started working on manufacturing my shop, but no one had removed the 'hold for concrete' flag. That set the construction date back a few weeks, but no big deal. They told me it would be end of September and they were true to their word. I did have to rent the forklift and was initially told it would take 2-3 days to build, but when the workers got here, they told me it would take all week. Thankfully I rented the forklift all week. By the weekend, it wasn't done, but there were only TWO guys working on it, so I understood. They said no one wants to work, which I also understand as that's the way things are right now. I was lucky enough to be able to keep the forklift for another two days and they finished up and thanked me for my patience. They cleaned up after themselves and were very friendly. We also had an issue with the forklift cracking some of our driveway, but it's been so dry here, the concrete is cracking anyway. It's a bummer, but it'll happen when you drive a huge forklift over concrete that's been in drought weather all summer. It was just completed last week and looks great. I'm very happy with it and will recommend them to others.

I'm pretty pleased with my building. The only reason I'm removing stars is due to the customer service and the run-around...
I ordered a metal building through a company called Advanced Building Systems, not knowing they would contract the work out to this company Safeguard Metal Buildings. The first issue I had was no communication AT ALL. Turns out the girl working on my deal was not doing her job and got fired, so had to find someone else to get my install scheduled after 3 months. Well they got a crew out pretty quick and they were hard workers. Only issue was that the entire crew only spoke spanish and we could not communicate. The first real communication we had was the crew leader trying to ask me for $200 extra, as they had to carry the supplies around his truck because he backed into the property the wrong way (his problem). Other than that, they busted their butts for 2 days and got the job done. However, the 2nd day they worked 2-hours after dark and I had someone from the HOA show up threatening to give me a fine because they were cutting metal after dark. They also did not finish the inside trim in the building while they were hurrying to finish in 2 days, which is the main reason I'm writing this review, in hopes a manager can see it.
I reached out to ABC when I noticed the building was not complete as well as Safeguard and let them know that I would like to have someone scheduled to come out and finish up. I've now spoken to no less than 4-separate people with this company over the last 2 weeks and they say they will schedule but only after I pay in FULL. I've already offered to pay half and the other half when the job is complete, as they don't seem to realize that all of their negative reviews come after payment is made and then customer service goes to shit. Again the building looks great and what's left is a small fix, but I seem to be getting the run around, as it's always a different person contacting me that has different info. PLEASE, if management sees this, come finish my building, I'll get you guys paid, and we can be done with this. I'll even up the stars to 4. Can't do 5 because of the issues I've already had with your service. Thanks

The representative, Tommy Santos was easy to work with. He answered all our questions. He was super professional. The folks at HQ that I spoke with on the phone were excellent. The crew that came out to my house was outstanding! They started late in the evening before the actual start date and got a lot accomplished. The next day they worked late into the evening and got everything done. Kudos to them! Esteban, Hector and Ramiro. Great job.

I had a Carport/Storage building delivered and assembled. The quality and price is excellent. The men that came to my home were efficient and hard working. The job took 14+ hours but was completed in 1 day. I had a problem with the scheduling that could have been easily been avoided. I was told my job would be done in 1 day and that the men would arrive around 2:00pm. This seemed late to start but I did not know how many men or how complicated the job would be. Th day of the work I received a call @ 10:00 am and was told it would be the following day by that time I had already taken off work and was preparing the area for the install. I then had to take off a 2nd day of work for the actual work. The building looks great! Just very disappointed in the communication from the front office. It was obvious after seeing the time and effort to assemble the building that there was never any way this job could be completed in an afternoon.

Install was quick 11-15-24. crew members friendly but spoke almost no English. Was suppose to get six screw in the ground tie down, BUT only received five. Awaiting response from company to arrange for installation of final tie down. Crew got today 11-25-24. Final tie down installed. Happy with product quality and install.

I want to say thanks Safeguard Metal Buildings for their wonderful employees. When they brought us our building only 3 men showed up to install a 28x30. These men were so kind and they were working in blazing heat installing this building.
Safeguard did an amazing job in ordering our building and colors were on spot.
All I want to say is that these men did an outstanding job and worked through the heat with no issues.
The pictures are mainly for the men that worked on this building, and appreciation for their outstanding work, and how quickly they put it together.
Safeguard please reward these 3 men for their hard work. Still cannot thank them enough.

If I could go lower, I would. I bought a metal shed from a "middle person" here in Abilene, TX. I was happy with the shed, so I requested a lean to be added to the current building. I had an installer come (two days late) while my wife and I were working (I work out of town, so I wasn't able to "supervise").
The Installer added to the internal framework because he stated "The last builder didn't know what he was doing". He asked my wife to sign his paperwork and explained to my wife that it was a "formality" for him to tell his company that he had arrived and done work.
When I returned from working out of town, I saw that the lean-to was not what we ordered. The Scope of Work stated the lean-to was to be added to the top beam and the bottom was to be 6' in height. I am 5'10" on a good day and I hit my head.
When I called and told them - they said, "The work was done". I went to the seller and they agreed with me - not in compliance. My tractor will not fit under this small lean-to. The company is not willing to come to fix it or come out to inspect it. They simply want their payment. I keep telling them - I will pay but it needs to be fixed. THEY KEEP MOVING MY FILE AROUND AND I GET A DIFFERENT PERSON MESSAGING ME OR CALLING ME. I have to tell my story over again but nothing gets done....what ever happened to LISTENING to the customer?
